Blackboard is the course management system that Portland State University uses to deliver online courses. Blackboard allows instructors to create a virtual classroom by bringing their course materials, including assignments and discussions, to the web. Once you are registered for courses, you will be able to log in to Blackboard using your ODIN username and password. Your ODIN log in information will be sent to you via email prior to the start of your term of entry.

Please click the “Help” link on PSU’s Blackboard page to further acquaint yourself with the Blackboard course management system. This link will provide you with a brief explanation on a variety of the tools and features that Blackboard offers.
Also when you log into Blackboard you will notice a Student Training Course. This course is not required and is self-paced. It is available as a resource for any student with an ODIN account who wishes to become more familiar with Blackboard.
