Extended Campus Program
Attend class everywhere Finish your degree anywhere

1. Meet with Advisor
Students may use the Degree Audit Reporting System to check their progress toward a degree. We encourage each student to meet with their Extended Campus advisor to discuss the report and plot a course for clearing up any outstanding course work issues.

2. Submit Degree Application
Any student seeking a degree from PSU must apply for the degree. Undergraduate degree application forms are due two terms prior to the anticipated graduation date. Please visit http://pdx.edu/registration/degree_application.html to find deadlines and to complete the Degree Application form.

3. Register for Commencement (OPTIONAL)
Commencement refers to the graduation ceremony. Commencement is not required, but is an option for those who wish to participate. Visit the Commencement web site to register and find information about Commencement. You may participate in one of two Commencement ceremonies:

Spring Commencement (June):  for winter, spring or summer graduates
Summer Commencement (August): for summer or fall graduates

Online registration for Spring Commencement begins in late January. Students will have the opportunity to order their cap, gown, and PSU regalia through the Portland State Bookstore.

4. Attend to any outstanding balances and grade issues
Diploma holds are placed on all students with an outstanding balance. Diplomas and transcripts will not be released while a student has an unpaid balance. Once the balance is paid, contact the Office of Business Affairs for a release form. Additionally, all course work should be completed and final grades recorded to ensure smooth processing of your degree application and diploma disbursement.
