NAPE (Naa Amerley Palm Education) Foundation:
NAPE Foundation believes education is an imperative and sustainable tool to improving the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.  NAPE Foundation seeks to provide access to further higher educational opportunities to individuals in Ghana, West Africa.  NAPE Foundation will be facilitating access to on-line coursework that leads to a Bachelor’s Degree through Portland State University’s School of Extended Studies.  Those who qualify will have completed a two-year polytechnic, two or three year diploma program, or a three-year teacher training program.

NAPE Foundation Will Provide: 

  • Staff to assist with facilitating access to on-line courses through Portland State University’s School of Extended Studies.
  • A facility in Ghana housed with computers, internet access and technical support. 
  • Assistance with accessing a pre-requisite writing class through Portland State University and the TOEFEL Exam. 
  • Orientation to on-line coursework software. 
  • Scholarships and Education Investment Funds to those who qualify.

Portland State University’s School of Extended Studies Will Provide:

  • Staff to provide academic advising throughout program. 
  • Curriculum, on-line courses, and on-line teaching staff.
