The Volunteer Engagement and Leadership Program (In Person VELP-2) is designed to help you be a successful manager of volunteers. Instruction is in-person, in a classroom setting, not online. Your instructors provide you with new and practical information and excellent resources to give you the skills you need to be a confident and productive manager of volunteers.
Course fee includes two books. Take home a comprehensive notebook on managing volunteers, with many forms and documents suitable for easy photocopying. There is also a text book on adult learning and planning training for volunteers, in addition to practical ideas to apply immediately to the management of volunteers.
If your interest is piqued through this series, explore the Institute for Nonprofit Management’s (INPM’s} comprehensive Certificate in Volunteer Program Management. In person VELP makes a marvelous introduction to this in-depth program.
